Germany based youtube channel NiNTENDOMiNATiON downloaded the Japanese version of Devils Third and had a surprisingly positive first impression of the game. A few of the main points mentioned:

- Great character models with emphasis on their sex appeal. Special approval on how nice the main character, Ivan, looks running around half naked.

- Highly enjoyable “freaky” storyline and “amazing” cutscenes.

- Great sfx and music.

- He found the CoD style Online mode was really fun. There's no waiting time between matches, but he mentioned the limited amount of players as a possible reason.

- Single Player has lots of secrets.

- The gore seems to be censored in the Japanese version.

- Disk locked non-accessible English dub appears randomly during a glitch(!?). He had video proof.

- A graphics quality level in between the PS2 and PS3, with some framedrops.

- He seems to like Devil's Third more than Splatoon but might have been referring to the multiplayer. Or maybe hes not into squid girls.

I have two gripes about this preview. First I would have preferred more in depth details about the combat and other gameplay mechanics. Secondly, looking at his other videos, I noticed he played the game on the Hard difficulty level but sadly didn't mention anything about it. I really wish to know if the harder difficulty level possesses a more even challenge, given that some previewers have mentioned a stark contrast in difficulty between bosses and the rest of the game. Besides that, It was refreshing to see a mainly positive reaction vid for a change. And yes, I know that a source with the word Nintendo on its name isn't the most reliable, so you can keep your smartass comments to yourselves.
