Splatoon is a very serious contender for my game of generation so far

Lol. That's a little harsh. But honesetly a decent point. 

 

I've played a good amount of Splatoon. It's pretty fun. But GOTG? That's going way too far. 

I'd argue that on Wii U alone, Smash Bros, Super Mario 3D Land, and Mario Kart 8 are all better games. 

GOTG need to redefine. Or be close to perfection. I do honestly think OP's opinion might be baised in that he/she only plays Nintendo games. 

I could be wrong, but I don't think I am. 

For me GTA5 remaster is still the best game of this generation hahaha. Bloodborne was amazing. Batman a great game. 

I wouldn't pick a GOTG at this point. 

I wouldn't judge other people's gaming tastes if you think those are the best games this gen.

Every critic would seem to agree with me. Gta5 remaster is still the best reviewed game this gen. Lol.
