It is really hard to create a lot of AAA games year in year out with Nintendo as they don't have that super big development teams to cater to all IPs. There is also a fault on Nintendo on not really listening to the fans and create big games, but if the budget to create a greate Metroid Prime or other established IPs are far too greater than the profit they could get or even break even, then they won't risk it too much. |
Nintendo could have release a 2D metroid game that was a sequel to GBA one, that people have been asking for forever. I guarantee it would have garnered less hate and hell would have probably cost less.
