There a lot of complaining but are they just waiting for a game to be perfect? Most of them just wanted to moan.
There are flaws on those spinoff a but if you don't like it, don't buy it. If you think AAA type game from those established IPs would come, it won't. It is really hard to create a lot of AAA games year in year out with Nintendo as they don't have that super big development teams to cater to all IPs.
There is also a fault on Nintendo on not really listening to the fans and create big games, but if the budget to create a greate Metroid Prime or other established IPs are far too greater than the profit they could get or even break even, then they won't risk it too much.
