Seeing in game cutscenes/gameplay and then transition to real filmed scenes could be a little jarring and could prevent smooth transition from cutscene to gameplay. Immersion could be lost. To me it seems like a pointless gimmick that could ruin the game when they could of just used actors likeneses with mo cap.
