As long as the other 2 don't cut into their market share or profit margins then why should they do anything? There's no reason for a price drop. Their profit margins are high. They worked out exclusive advertising deals. They money hatted some features. The desperate times of the early days of PS3 are far behind them and Sony is rolling in the money. If I were Sony all I'd do if I were asked about how I can make up for no gamescom I just point to TLG, Shenmue 3, FF7, and NMS and cash the checks.

No man skys and FF7 will more than likely be on xbox "console debut" and "first on playstation" just like cuphead and tomb raider. I want to see them invest into their own ips or lock down third party games like horizon and tlg (which we may or may not see).
