With Apple set to announce AppleTv support for an app store - will VGChartz begin tracking AppleTV as an 8th generation system?
It seems to me that once they add gaming, which they will in droves, they have no problems attracting 3rd party developers, then the system fits exactly in the same slot as a Wii U, xBox One, or PS4, as a gaming/video streaming "set top" box for your tv.
I know they are only announcing in September, and not doing us the favor of hyping it as a game machine, but once they surpass Wii U in sales unit volume, it'll be hard not to include them.
