About the Vita doom and what they should have done vs PSP. Let's be frank here. "Handheld specific titles" isn't why handhelds worked. They worked because Nintendo was porting last gen console games to handheld. Gameboy? Tetris was the killer app at launch and they put a Mario 1 rip off on it. With the exception of 1, all my GBA games are all console ports. DS launched with Super Mario 64. That however was the past. Looking towards the future you have a problem (Which is also why the 3DS is struggling); handhelds are in-between. Console to handheld titles are an issue now since console games have become massive and very graphic intense. You wouldn't want to play it on a small screen unless you're replaying it, or grinding. So creating handheld specific titles is indeed the way to go. Why would you buy a dedicated handheld when you can get said games on your smartphone? The handheld market is in a very precarious position that I personally don't see any way out. Nintendo is doing what everyone says needs to be done with handhelds, yet that's not working. Sony has let the Vita become a free for all, a marvelous free for all with quite possible the most diverse and best library out there, and it's not working. People don't wanna carry two devices anymore and that's an honest to god shame.
Picked up a Vita TV since Best Buy knocked the price down to 50 bucks CAD. Still playing around with it on my PS Monitor in my room. Can I throw my memory card in there and play my Vita titles no issue?
Honestly Gravity Rush is one of the best and most refreshing game I've played in over 5 years. It honestly deserves better and if the PS4 can give it better, even with a cross gen version with the Vita, I'm for it. Like, I'm disappointed in gamers cause they've honestly failed Kat.
Is Ar Nosurge any good? I saw the LE edition at my local game store. I was tempted to buy it but I wasn't sure.
