It's the big gap in userbases that I'm refering to.

Titanfall on Xbox One. The userbase was actually less than half of 10 million when the game released and it's Xbox One sales were hindered by also being on 2 other platforms.

XBONE will sell far more than just 10 million.

Wii U won't sell much more, I guess max. 15 million.

So? At the present time Titanfall has sold that well on a small install base. Maybe that install base will increase in the future, but it was small when the game got the majority of its sales.

Titanfall's marketing budget was calculated for a much bigger userbase (i.e. banking on future sequels).

But sure, I'll give you Titanfall. Its online community isn't all that active anymore though.
