I thought Iron Man 3 was pretty super blah, and I thought Age of Ultron was better, but fell far short of matching the quality of the first Avengers film. Ultron himself admittedly was a decent villain, and I thought he was the highlight of the movie. I felt the final confrontation was pretty lackluster though and that the movie peaked far earlier than the final climax. My criticisms for Iron Man 3 are more focused around how they completely squandered what could have been a great villain. Diverging from the source material is okay, but don't completely butcher a villain that way.
In Fantastic 4 related news, audience approval dropped another percentage point to 31%.
