I don't know what that game is really nor if it was developed or published by nintendo but looking at its sales it's pretty clear the game had no advertisement or was plain bad, nintendo fans are passionate but not stupid either lol
Also your comment above, no one is saying splatoon can not be goty for many... but this thread says gotg when the gen is just starting for X1 and PS4
