Did you play GTA3 through SA back in the day when they released? I did, and I found GTA5 to be a let down. I enjoyed the city as far as causing mayhem and destruction and just... running around blowing shit up etc. But the story... meh. I feel like Rockstar has slipped since GTA SA. Either that, or they're just going for a different thing because those first three games were so silly and arcade like, that they had a really good since of humor. Now, it's like they're just going for realism both with the engine and the characters.
