Studios can come out and surprise this gen, it's already happened, Infamous 1&2 cetainly weren't known for their looks at all but did crazy shit in SS.

If the XB1 isn't doing the physics processing then what's holding this game back visually? If they just like the art style that's cool but It seems a waste when they could do so much more.

There was also nothing holding it back last gen. Many games waste much potential, being it gameplay, variety, graphics, game modes...

At least I wouldn't expect it to be a looker but perhaps they are also able to surprise the community.
