Orihime's feelings for Ichigo are the only thing that are canon, everything else is just speculation. Ichigo, at this point, has barely shown any interest in the opposite sex expect when he's being teased by Matsumoto and Yoruichi. I personally don't mind if IchiRuki happens, I just don't think it will though. Like I said, Kubo could have easily written out Orihime's feelings for Ichigo during the timeskip, but he didn't. In fact, he brings it up even more now. I just don't see the purpose of repeatedly bring them up if they aren't going to amount to anything. It's kind of like how Hinata's feelings were always in the background and Naruto was oblivious to them, but they ended up together.

There's also the fact we don't really know where Ichigo is going to end up by the end of the series. If he's required to live out the rest of his life in Soul Society because he's too dangerous to be among normal humans then IchiRuki obivously has a better chance. However, if he can continue to live with his family and friends in the Human World, I don't see how Rukia and him could honestly have a relationship. He'll soon be going to college and Rukia is the Vice-Captain of the Thirteenth Division. They'll both have huge responsibilties that will make a "long-distance" relationship hard to manage.

It's been made quite obvious that he's most likely going to stay at SS. Though be honest with me, We all expected it at some point, lol. Though I honestly wouldn't be surprised if Kubo made him into like, the soul king's successor or something like that.

Ichigo and Rukia might have never went all lovey dovey, but there were plenty of emotional, often mutual moments shared between the two, and that's why I think they have a bigger chance of getting together than Ichigo and Orihime, or Renji and Rukia for that matter. That, and a ton of other things like Kubo's enthusiasm and involvement in Fade to Black, and said that he wanted the viewers to focus on the relationship between Ichigo and Rukia in that film, which was hard to miss, lol.

It's definitely possible. I just don't understand the reasons for highlighting Orihime's feelings if he was just going to go the IchiRuki path. It makes no sense and feels inefficient in a way. But it is obvious that it'll be probably be one or the other he ends up with and while it does look like he might end up having to stay in Soul Society, I still find it hard to believe that Urahara won't find away for Ichigo to stay with his family. There's also the fact that I can't see Ichigo leaving his sisters.

Or maybe Kubo is just trolling all of us and Ichigo ends up with no one.
