After taxes and everything it was a bit more than that would have been with shipping, so overall I'm happy. Note that "and everything" included a stand for it as well.
Talking to other folks who were there (other customers) it seems this was a hot Item because just while we were there they sold 5 or 6 of them. I actually opted to pick mine up on Friday and let someone who was from out of town get theirs today instead, plus I have finals and such this week so I don't need the distraction right now.
Consumer Reports has this model listed as the 4th best (79/100) in the 46-47" category and the 3 that are above it are all 70%-200% more expensive with the best being rated 81/100. So all in all I feel pretty happy about this purchase.
