There is a lot of room for refinement in the Wii. And not even just in graphics. Online functionality (one friend code should work with any game, damn it), sound, storage and controls could all be improved.

But I think Nintendo has learned that they can't just polish up their existing offering. Freshness is what captures the imagination of the market. I'm sure they'll dig up an idea or two that nobody will see coming.
