I bought it cause I wanted to try something different and was looking forward to doing at least something healthy regulsarly.
Small anecdote: my wife is a completely anti video games. I have all 3 home consoles and the 2 handhelds. I play all of them (GTA4, guitar hero, COD, MKWii, SMG, etc...) and she hates everything with a passion. Part of buying Wii Fit was to see if she would like it. Forced her to try it at first, she wasn't convinced but after 2 weeks now, she is completely into it and plays more than me. Small victory maybe but very impressive in my eyes... Nintendo are definitely on to something!
