Yeah whoever is running Sony pictures is friggin retarded. I follow movie news as well and there was no missing that Sony is having an abysmal year. I mean, when u continue to greenlight Adam Sandler movies despite them consistently being some of the most painfully bad comedies, u have to wonder what the heck is wrong with the people running SP. Pixels was supposed to be a huge hit (was predicted to make like $180 mill domestic alone and had the director of a few of the Harry potter movies), but they put Adam Sandler in there and sure enough it bombed terribly.
Sony needs to do some firing at Sony pictures for sure. Oh, and Sony is about to be in even more trouble as they're likely losing the rights to continue releasing bond movies. MGM is predicted to switch to WB as a partner.
