The deals are non-existent now. You don't even get the 5 free movies anymore. I think christmas will help, but when the 2.0 players come out, I'm sure the price will probably go up at first.
It is really sad that HD-DVD is gone. We wouldn't even be close to the current level of adoption if not for HD-DVD.
