Blu-ray player sales down despite format victory

it's the price that's putting consumers off now , it was cheaper to be a blu-ray supporter [during] the format war.

I kinda wish HD-DVD didn't die so early , it would have definetley forced the blu-ray backers to act more with the consumer in mind.
