Why doesn't Nintendo make more games for it's systems?

The fact is that Mario, Zelda and Pokemon are overused franchises at this point. They wont draw in new core or casual gamers with them anymore.

They need to expand.  Instead of remaking every god damn Zelda game, they should invest in new IPs. If not they will only cater to their core fanbase. A fanbase thats shrinking by the day.

Sony must be doomed then with all their remasters (with barely any changes).

Those two Zelda remakes on the 3DS were made by a very small third party studio. What original games were you expecting Grezzo to make instead of remakes?

Wind Waker HD was made in 6 months by the Zelda team...
