Same situation for me, very out of touch, I watched Another last year and I watched it again last month, I recommend it.
If it weren't far longer than the ~25 episodes limit demanded by the OP, it had 40 episodes, I'd recommend Daitarn 3 too.
I'd recommend Ohayō! Spank too, but it had more than 60 episodes, and I don't know if without the Italian dubbing (they even had the idea to make the cat Torakiki talk with exaggerated German accent) is as hilarious: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CY-BmNx3jjI
