Square to go ROTTR on FFVII Remake and reveal other platforms?

Someone on GAF said this was another SF5 situation with Sony funding the game, but if that were true then why would Sony be shy about that fact? They came right out and said that SF5 would never release on XB1. If they were funding this remake then what's stopping them from telling us what everyone's assuming?

The "Play it first on..." wording is suspicious as well. Why point that out if it's never coming to the other console? The wording isn't really necessary if it's only coming to PC.

KH 3 has been announced at the beginning of the generation, do you really think if they had announced it now, in 2015, they would announce it on X1 ? Certainly not, they announced it because they didnt know, a lot thought X1 would win the generation, US was not even a question, then everything changed.

And i'm not sure FF VII R has a best seller potential than FF XV on X1, why would Xbox player would wait for a game they never played ? If they played it, then they are mostly PS gamers, if you love RPG you are on PS, so yes, most would think, including SE, that X1 gamers are not interested ( they would have ported FF VII to X1 if they thought the opposite)

I think FF XV will be the real test for them to see who loves Jrpg on X1

World Of Final Fantasy also has " Play first " wording though, so.... I think the decision is up to Square Enix, so wait for FF XV release to get an answer
