I really wish Microsoft invested into Phantom Dust or a new game rather than Rise of the Tomb Raider.

Please, Sony hasn't invest into any good new AAA ips other than Horizon thus far. Bloodborne is a spirtual successor to soul series so it doesn't count Im afraid although I can see why someone will because of the name change. However, they aren't fooling me. They thought they got me with the demon souls / dark souls switcheroo, but I out smart them.

You are not that smart if you think bloodborne is a sequel to thé Souls, thé gameplay is quite différent, its not for nothing the IP are différent, Souls was also aa spiritual successor, it doesnt make it less a new IP, dont try to spin.

 

Whether you like it or not its a new IP, inspired by souls but with all new gameplay mechanics

 

And its not thé only one im thinking of, there are also Dreams,Horizon, Rime, Wild, Until Dawn, ... coming  and i didnt say i was only talking about PS4, since thé beginning of handheld génération, since 2012 with all the new Vita IP they created ( Gravity Rush, Tearaway, Soul Sacrifice , 3 new ip and 3 must have), you cant deny thé fact had a lot of new good exclusive IP, its only natural to think they will continue to créateur other new IP and they seem to do so, its a matter of Being if good faith. Sony has more studios with much more teams so more variety in exclusives than X1, they wouldnt even need to create new IP with all these IP already existing, but they still do.

And to think they will announce at least 2 new IP again this year ( QD game and Sony Bend Game)
