| Teeqoz said: Black Holes are the result of massive stars bending space-time to ridiculous amounts by gravity, once they have fused the atoms (matter) that comprise them all the way from hydrogen to iron. No. it's the other way around. Space time is bendt to ridiculous amounts from the gravity of a black hole. Black holes aren't a result of space-time being bendt too far.

Re-read what I said, you misunderstood it.
| Teeqoz said: No he wouldn't have to be able to bend space-time. Black holes don't have to come from stars collapsing on themselves (Even though that's the only way they can naturally occur in this universe) black holes arise when the density of something becomes so big (and also gravity) that not even light can escape it. Given that Dr. Manhattan can manipulate matter, he could create a tiny point with enough density to become a black hole. If the earth was compressed to the size of a marble, it would become a black hole because it would have so high density. You don't need to have something big to have high mass. |
How can Doctor Manhattan create a "tiny spot" that fits inside a human body that has 5 times the mass of our Sun? That is nonesense for science-fiction mumbo jumbo.
