Well with 9, the series composer Koichi Sugiyama had accidentally leaked that it was in development for DS before Square Enix said anything(if my memory serves correctly) so we got a freebie there. I, like you, am just glad it'll be on a home conosle and be something like Dragon Quest 8. I also am rooting for PS4 but the Gamepad would be a heavensend for menu access...something that's never really been fun in Dragon Quest games.

Oh ok, and ikr? My only fear is that they do side characters the way they did in DQ9 :S lifeless characters x.x
