Is for sure at least one of the reasons, there are others also... Inafume is branching out too fast and that creates concerns on the customers, will be he able to handle all the projects? Was all the money of the first Kickstarter used on the game, or did he took part of it to finance the other side-related projects? The new project looks too ambitious and the original goal gives the feeling that they are not offering a full new game but just a piece of it. The lack of a console option from the start hurts as PC gamers have already too many options to support with their money Those are the ones I can think of right now, even though I don't think it is necessary to have it is certainly useful to have some gameplay to show, that at least reminds the people about the original game they are trying to re-capture with the new title. |
I think so too. His best bet was to wait until Might No.9 came out and if it did well then he just rides on its success with Red Ash's kickstarter.
