Well we can all understand why but that doesn't make it any less horrible... I put money into a product from that company and it is their job to make sure my money gets a very good return... The fact that not only does it not have many big name games at all like Pokemon or Metroid but it also won't be getting an Zelda Exclusive is pure and utter nonsense at best from a consumer standpoint. Hence why, they should either stick to their guns cause they know for a fact that Zelda will be profitable regardless and make the wiiU fans happy or lose loyal customers cause when shit hits the fan, its the loyal customers that they have to fall back to and I certainly won't be one of them if they port Zelda to the NX. Also the fact that Zelda hasn't been Nintendo's premier system seller for quite a while now so it really isn't out of the question if they simply have something better like Mario Kart 9 or Pokemon or something as a launch title and leave Zelda to the wiiU owners to play with for a year I agree that porting to from GC to Wii architecture wise is easier than porting from PowerPC to NX but redoing tons of gameplay elements to suite motion controls is not... I think you are greatly underestimating the amount of time it takes to even do all those things. And like I wrote before which you continue to ignore is the fact that if they just wanted a simple port, they would have made the motion controls a lot more basic than it really was. And I doubt that it will be a control scheme that is that different and if it is, we don't know that yet. But what we do know that it will be more powerful than the wiiU so it is safe to assume that the graphics will be improved And its funny that you keep on saying "Nintendo will not do this and Nintendo will not do that cause Nintendo isn't like that" and that "you know everything about Nintendo" while simply ignoring the fact that this is the first time since 1986 that a console will not have an exclusive Zelda game. That is cherry picking at its finest... If Nintendo really wasn't like that sorta of a company, they really would just leave Zelda U to the wiiU and port it later cause that is how it has always been and it would make everyone happy Also, if the NX has superior controls than the wiiU... Oh look, I am suddenly enjoying my game less |
Completely disagree. OK we don't have Metroid or Pokemon, but we have games like Pikmin, Yoshi and Star Fox. And about Zelda, I will enjoying Zelda U on Wii U same regardless if it will be ported on NX or not, that will not effect on Wii U Zelda game at all (only if they don't release NX version first).
I already wrote if they making motion controls for TP Wii version they will do that right, not some half done work. Wii U is much more powerful console than Wii, and we didn't get any Wii games with upgraded graphic.
Yes, but they never were in such bad position, like I already wrote, this gen they had they first loose in history of Nintendo, so they will do whatever it takes to have very good launch for NX, and that includes Zelda U port. Majority Zelda fans wont mind if Zelda U gets NX port and thats scenario that all makes (almost) everybody happy, but not realising Zelda U game on Wii U would make very angry Nintendo and Zelda fans.
How exactly can NX have superior controls!? Wii U gamepad is perfect for Zelda game, WW HD is a proof of that and I think Zelda U will exploit even more gamepad.
