Of Course not, but Mario Kart made big difference last year. Splatoon have better impact only in Japan, Mario Kart had much stronger impact in US and Europe.

Mario kart kept sales at around 60k per week during july and august, this year won't be much different but will actually have a big september release, hopefully along a pricecut.
