I want a continuation of the main story and for them to put all the effort into it that they put into PE1. I think Tetsuya Nomura, Takashi Tokita, and Yoko Shimomura should return.
As far as the structure of the gameplay, a VATS-style (Fallout 3/NV) system might be an interesting choice, but in third-person rather than first-person.
