Goku has been a little more defined having less people change him due to him being much newer/etc. The main problem is that a writer could add any power to Superman with any comic they write, he could be given complete invincibility, the fastest speed fathomable -giving him a much better advantage. Not that it really matters to me, but I tend to prefer the character with the coolest hair so out of the 2 of them I'd probably root for Goku XD |
This. It was even covered in the death battle video. The Dragonball series follows an arc of Goku overcoming the odds through hard work. He is supposed to be a relatable character to people and inspire determination. Superman was never meant to be relatable. He was pretty much WWII propoganda used to bring across the idea that "God was on America's side".
