Installed base isn't everything but is a, important factor, especially with such a big difference. At most, it could sell about the same as the first game, 2 million on ps4 + xbox1, around 3 million if we add Wii U. The game couldn't be cross gen without completely different assets on ps360 versions, and remember ps3 barely handled the first game.

What you presented is no reason why it couldn't be cross gen. There are several more demanding games that are cross gen and of course they had to change some assets. Nobody demands them to be identical.

It would be too much work for a game that doesn't sell huge numbers and the ps360 audience is the same as ps4/x1, so they would barely get any extra sales for it.
