I think 2:1 in MS' favor is "better than expected", although not too far off of expectations. MS may very well have been planning on touting a 2:1 number, because they could surely find some retail partners (Best Buy, for example) where 2-1 was almost certain. Microsoft coming out and saying, "hey, we're crushing the PS3 for GTA4 in America" makes them look like a winner, and that gives the 360 some positive perception among people who may not know better and will never follow up on this to see what the final sales numbers look like.
I think Starcraft's point is this: GTA is Sony's house. And Microsoft came into Sony's house and beat them. At least in the US.
This site really needs to consider banning for personal insults. It would clean things up a lot and make this a better site all around if the people who sling them regularly simply weren't here.
