Yeah, they could abandon the human aspect altogether, have paws, hooves, skeleton hands, etc... would be amusing.  Though, it's kinda sad to think you have to make that change, just to avoid being shamed by people w/ no argument greater than 'I'm offended!'

I actually thing some of thingd thingd you listed would be fun to have (although it would be nice to have human hands too)
