I'm not. As a matter of fact, I think it's safe to say that Ant-Man is factual PROOF that we have, without a doubt, hit the over saturation point with super hero moves.

I mean... an Ant? Really? lol

How is it proof of over-saturation in superhero movies? Ant-Man in the Marvel comics is an original Avenger, the founding member no less. If the movie-verse wanted to be truly canonical to the Avengers comic book series Ant-Man would have been the first movie in the series, not the 12th. Arguably it would be a huge disservice to the original material to not have Ant-Man in the movies. But as you are speaking for the vast majority of the population, who are not marvel comic fans, it is understandable that to the uninitiated the idea of an Ant-Man does seem like scraping the bottom of the barrel.

Having seen the movie I think it is a very worthy entry in the series. And I really like that the movie does direct homage to the fact that Ant-man was an original Avenger by giving a fair bit of Hank Pym's backstory.

People gotta make sure to stay right to the end credits because there are two post-scripts in this movie, not one.
