For me it's Adventures and Adventures 2 respectively. Tamers was.... childish and liked to retcon the originals. It was silly at best, but entertaining.
I'm a huge Myotismon fan as well and his manipulations in both seasons were amazing. Season 2 was great because of how dark it became. I really didn't like it at first until everything came full circle and then I fell in love with it after the "holy shit" moment. The truth about Ken and how Myotismon survived and caused all that damage. Personally the first two seasons are some of my all time favorite anime along with DBZ. Say what you will about that but I loved them! :D
