Wouldn't Sony be quoting SHIPPED figures, as usual? This would then definitely include shipped "free" units, such as the ones they are talking about.
The "hardcore" gamers here buy everything. Several of my friends have all three consoles - nothing else to do with their money!
Its still very expensive here as well, so I guess that bodes well for Sony. My days of spending $700AU on a console are well and truly over.
