Whoa....Tecmo hasn't said they are making a brand new Rygar game, that's just what many of us are hoping is the reason behind the big delays.
I don't know about what engine is being used, but I'd guess it's different than GoW's. As far I as I'm aware, Rygar on PS2 was developed by Tecmo in Japan, and GoW was developed in the US by SCEA.
