My anecdotal evidence is further proof to my belief that people arguing against Wii Fit advertising or efficiency or interest here are completely off and thus wrong.
This anecdotal evidence I received just some hours ago, which is another amazing one actually.
These are two guys in my near family, that regularly go to the gym, these guys are about thirty years old, and we live in Europe. They are brothers, they are single, and they both regularly to the gym, to gain some muscles.
One of them has a PS3 that both play, they bought it after I bought mine, so not long ago. I don't know why they bought it.
At least one of them saw the Wii Fit advertisements, didn't seem interested.
Last night, they both went to see a friend that had bought Wii Fit, and they actually played it all night.
Guess what I hear from them today? They have decided to sell their PS3 and go buy a Wii + Wii Fit.
All the negative speculation here revolves around the belief that people will be disappointed when they actually play the game. Seems like that won't be true.
