Except this isn't true. Opinions are 50/50 on this. The game was set up as a type of prologue and it has plenty of twists. it won't be a Xenogears or Xenoblade Chronicles, but it is best to think of it similar to Xenosaga Ep 1, with less filler (albeit more than Xenoblade Chronicles and Xenogears.) 

And for general RPG and standards of games in general, this is above-average. 

@OP Besides Xenoblade X, Fatal Frame V is coming this fall.
