Yeah, fighting games players are the worst. I am one of them, I know the community as a whole pretty good and really, sometime they disgust me to play them. A lot of fighting game players defend their favorite game and spit on the others blindly. I am a third players but I know the problem with the game and I accept them. I wouldn't mind a little change or balance, but I know my fellow comrade of play would go in a rampage if that happens. They wan't the game to remain broken on every level...

We agree about the effort put in Alpha 3. The game is so polished, it is not even fair. The soundtrack make you want to fight, every characters feels alive ect... Plus the pixel are top-notch for a game that can run on psx.

I love the soundtrack in Alpha 3.  Everything they did in that game was so fresh.  They put so much effort into the little things in that game.  Fighting June and July if you're doing too good with that gorgeous background.  The way the round aesthetics come in and out with the timer, the announcer.  Different intro and victory poses.  I remember seeing Akuma use raging demon on Gen, for Gen to block it and hit him back with his assassin's fist and I was in awe.  Plus all the ones I missed cause they had to cut out a bunch from the PSX version.  Like you said, everything was alive.  Even the colour pallete, they matched colours so well in all the stages.  Plus the PSX version's aesthetics were amazing.  The particle effects were so nice.  They'd be different colour and sizes depending on what you did (regular move or spectial) and the lighting effects for super combos looked really great.  I like them better than the anime effects from the original, it just matches the game aesthics so much better.  Plus the flashing skull in Bison's stage.  I saw it for the first time and I was like "This is soo amazing!"  I was actually dissapointed when I saw the arcade version when I got the PSP version.  They put so much effort.  I'd actually like the PSX version best if they could have somehow got all the intro/victory poses in.  But yeah, fighting game community is so backwards.  They'll complain something is broken, then complain when they fix it.  Like, I like doing broken things against a computer.  It's pretty rewarding being able to pull it off, but not against person.  It turns into who can hit their combo first vs winning with skill.  What's your PSN?  I can't say I'm the best fighter out there, but I enjoy playing and I'm running out of people to play (Seriously, there's only one person I play Street Fighter with now and he's lazy).

Edit: Yeah, didn't the community go ape shit when they removed Urien's infinite with an arcade revision and the Dreamcast version?
