Slayer is overrated, they are cliche metal.

 

MOP is a masterpiece in everyway, AJFA is the weakest of the big 3 Metallica albums, many songs go on too long, there are a few forgettable songs on that album too. The mix of melody, thrash, lyrics, and tone in MOP is just off the charts. Agree to disagree on that.

I haven't listened to that much Slayer so I couldn't say either way

 

There's a "big 3" Metallica albums? As far as I'm aware their first 5 albums are all heavily praised, and DM is generally pretty highly regarded as well.
