Wait...how is it shovelware? Valve is a talented dev, and WHO CARES if they are making a kid game? Kids games include Ratchet, KH, Mario, etc. Are those bad? No. They're not making "Barney and Friends" dude. They're not making games for 3 year olds. They are making games that are targeted at kids BUT adults can play. |
While I believe whatever Valve does is going to be at least decent, they actually never said anything about their game for kids being anything but a game for kids. Saying the game can be played by adults is coming to your own conclusions that have no bearing on what was said in that article.

Well Mario Kart Wii was for kids, Dewy's Adventure was for kids, Elebits was for kids even Zack and Wiki with its kiddy graphics was for kids so what seem to be the problem? Im just disappointed that its not the core developer breakthrough that we waited but I believe in Valve on this.

E3 2006-The beginning of the end. Wii introduced
E3 2008- Armageddon. Wii motion plus introduced. Wii Music. Reggie says Animal crossing was a core game. Massive disappointment. many Wii core gamers selling their Wii.
