after reading some of your guys' replies, I understand a bit more where you are coming from, but this comment in particular convinced me the most. In the way you described, I guess maybe I wouldn't be that upset about it. And if it had a chance to actually help the wii u sales, then I'd definitely be for that.
I think the way I was thinking of it was like this: people will look at the wii u's library and look at the 3DS's library, and they won't see games like hyrule warrives and splatoon as experiences unique to the wii u and may chalk it up to, well they both have this game so that doesn't influence me to get a wii u. they would basically be making the purchase out of ignorance of how the games are different
