Far too high. The rate of diminishing returns on HDD's is big so smaller drives are very costly per GB.

 

 

I found a 12GB external HDD on newegg for $112.00 but I can get an 80GB external for $54.00.

 This is why I can picture them coming out with a bigger sized hard drive, actually.
