Last year was a stop-gap year for F1, while they were working on this title I believe (not very well either, judging by reviews).
It's impressive, but still, early gen is when games like this always do better. As the market gets more saturated when time goes on, they'll sell less and less. I hope this is enough to sustain them, because Codemasters desperately need some hits with the amount of bombs they've had lately.
