Don't be sad, as a fighting game player myself, I can ensure you Blazblue is one hell of a shitty one. The more iteration keep coming, the more the core mechanics are screwed. Guilty gear XRD is the one to ask for on vita, even if the downgrade will hit a little, it would be neat. 

Plus, they're almost no Blazblue players in the world. It would be hard to matchmaking online mode. 

If this were the case, why does BlazBlue do better than GG nowadays?
