Ballack, while a useful player, hardly fits in this category.  In fact, other players on the German team have much more imagination and individual skill.  I think most Germans were hoping Schweinsteiger would grow into this category, but it hasn't happened.  Ballack doesn't have the skill of those I mentioned.
