Having not ever owned the DS, I feel like I should answer Wii but I do feel that while 1st party offerings were superior on the Wii, 3rd party offerings were much better on the DS. Games like The World Ends With You, Dragon Quest IX, Devil Survivor, Professor Layton and Phoenix Wright are exceptional in quality.
But then again, the Wii has Super Mario Galaxy, Skyward Sword, Super Paper Mario, Xenoblade Chronicles, Metroid Prime 3, Okami and No More Heroes.
I'll just say that since I prefer my 3DS to my Wii, I believe I would feel the same about the DS, so I'll go with that.
