The Xbox had a couple of my favorite games of all time, knights of the old republic and jade empire... It also had a little game called halo... And it played dvd's... Overall, I think it made a stronger case for purchase.
Personally, I don't get how the ps2 sold so much more as I liked both the GameCube and Xbox more than the ps2. Momentum perhaps?
